We are an ark of God’s glory

I’m going out of town for a week, and I haven’t shared a worship song in a while, so I thought I would share a song we started singing at our church. It’s called, “We are an Ark” by Dave Fitzgerald. It really speaks to us about the reality of who we are in Christ.

Beloved, understand that, under the New Covenant, your Heavenly Father came and made His home in you (John 14:23). He wants to dwell in your house forever. You are a carrier of His glory (Col.1:27). I think it’s too easy to greatly underestimate the magnitude of this reality.

And this is why we need to sing songs like this to remind us.

So, here is the song. Listen to it, sing it, declare it, believe it.

See you when I get back next week. 🙂

My eyes have not seen
My ears have not heard
What You’ve prepared for me

I can’t comprehend
What You have spent
You gave Your life for me

I am an ark of Your glory
I am an ark of Your glory
I am an ark of Your glory

You make Your home in me
Make Your home in me
You make Your home in me

We are an ark of Your glory
We are an ark of Your glory
We are an ark of Your glory

I am alive in you
You make your home in me
Won’t you come and make your home in me
Make your home in me
Come make your home in me
