Come awake…let it happen

God_Is_Love_BrideWe are living in a time when Jesus is awakening His bride to who He really is and who she really is in Him (John 14:20).

We’re finally starting to see ourselves rightly in Christ, in union with Him, and because we’re seeing ourselves rightly, we’re starting to see each other rightly, too (John 17:21-26).

We’re finally starting to understand what it means to say that God is love, that His love is unconditional, and that this is how we know that we know God (1 John 4:8).

We’re finally learning to let the Father’s perfect love cast out all our orphan fears. We don’t have to hide behind religion anymore (1 John 4:17-18).

We’re finally starting to see God as a good Father, not an angry distant deity.  We’re unlearning the lies we’ve been told about Him (John 14:18, 23; Gal.4:6; James 1:17).

We’re finally starting to let Jesus interpret the Bible, not the other way around (Matt.11:27; John 14:7; Heb.1:3).

We’re finally starting to let the Living Word study us instead of using it to judge others not like us (Matt.7:1-5; Heb.4:12).

We’re finally starting to see that what filled Christ fills us (Eph.3:19; Col.2:9-10 AMP).

We’re finally starting to see that the good news is that Jesus Christ has invited us into His life, not the other way around (John 14:6; Eph.2:6; Col.3:3; 2 Pet.1:4).

We’re finally starting to see that what keeps us living small and not in the BIG life that God has purposed for us is between our ears and not because of some outside force or circumstance (2 Cor.6:11-13 MSG).

We’re finally starting to see that the Great I Am has come to take residence in the deepest part of us to heal us from all our “I am not’s.” And that true freedom comes from entering into this cooperative process with Him (John 8:31-32).

We’re finally starting to see that what we thought was so important about being a Christian is not as important as managing our heart—keeping it unoffended, tender, teachable, and full of passion before the Lord (Prov.4:23; Rev.2:4-5).

We’re finally starting to see that the only thing that really matters in the end is relationships…Being loved and loving God and others with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:28-34; John 15:9).

Beloved, do you hear the Spirit calling you back to Himself today? Back to the simplicity of being loved and walking out that love in this world? I believe He’s saying to let go of all the “I am not’s” …all the fears, insecurities, anxieties, regrets, worries, disappointments, and everything else that’s weighing you down right now.

28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matt.11:28-30 MSG)

Just let it go….let whatever God wants to do in you happen.

You are So loved!

Let It Happen

You’re full of life now
You’re full of passion
That’s how He made you
Just let it happen

And He calls each one of us
By our names to come away
And He whispers to your heart
To let it go and to be a light

And He whispers to your heart
To let it go and to be a light
And He whispers to your heart
To let it go and to be a light

Be a light
Be a light, be a light
Be a light

Come alive
Come alive, come alive
Come alive

So take me back
Back to the beginning
When I was young
Running through the fields with You

  1. Andy Oldham says:

    Profound post Mel!

  2. “Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”
We’re beginning to realize Who’s we are… and who we are.

    • Mel Wild says:

Amen! Yes, and deep darkness covers the land but not on us! “The nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising.”

Sounds like something REALLY GOOD to wake up to! Yay God! 🙂

  3. Cindy Powell says:

Yes please! Just let it go and just let it happen! Amen 😊
