A Father’s Blessing

Father_sonThe following was written by a pastor from Madison, Wisconsin, who went with some of the ladies from our church family on a recent mission trip to Belize. Deb Anderson, who is from our church, spoke this blessing over us a few Sundays ago. It was anointed! I’ve included it here to bless you.

So get yourself in a quiet place and get ready to receive! Take just a few minutes and listen to this clip and let the Father’s love wash over you. I’ve included the words below for your further edification.

Blessings,
Mel

A Father’s Blessing
May you love others so well that it provokes them to believe in Jesus.
May you notice those who no one else notices because you see with your Father’s eyes.
May you uncover identities and un-inhibit destinies.
May you shine brighter and brighter each day as you more perfectly reflect the radiance of Jesus.
May every fruit of the Spirit flourish in you.
May every gift of the Spirit operate through you.
May you walk in every good work prepared for you, bearing much fruit in season and out of season.
May you live in the overflowing abundance of your Father’s kingdom receiving what others cannot receive because you know you are well loved.
May you know the ways of God as only those with undivided hearts can.
May you experience shalom in every circumstance because you are rooted in the Father’s love.
May your words be filled with wisdom, with healing and with grace.
May your touch be filled with comfort, with healing and with love.
May your steps be filled with dignity, purpose and joy.
May miracles accompany you on your travels both near and far.
May every good door open before you and every bad door close and be locked behind you.
May the past no longer have any hold over you as you look to the future with faith and laughter.
May fear have no power over you because you are captive to your Father’s love.
May your dreams be overtaken, your expectations be overthrown and your desires be overmatched.
May you receive and enjoy every drop, every ounce of your inheritance.
May you come to maturity faster than you thought possible and enjoy it more than you thought imaginable.
May your identity be unshakeable, your faith unstoppable and your love undefeatable.
May you live as a new creation with a renewed mind and a redeemed heart.
May you defeat demons and disarm giants.
May your enemies become your friends and your friends become your comrades in arms and your partners in the kingdom.
May you lack no good thing, receiving every good and perfect gift from your Father.
May the Holy Spirit delight to dwell in you and overflow through you.
May favor be attracted to you and goodness and lovingkindness pursue you.
May you be comforted in sorrow, helped in difficulty, rescued in trouble and renewed in battle.
May every curse over you be broken and every evil assignment canceled as they are both overwhelmed and overcome by the blessing of God on your life.
May every purpose of God be fully realized in you and through you.
May every season and every circumstance yield good fruit to you.
May you have the mind of Christ being filled with both wisdom and revelation.
And may you live within the radius of your Father’s smile experiencing His delight in you each and every day.
