Leavin’ on a jet plane

Jet_takeoffI will be travelling so I probably won’t have the time to post some new stuff until the week after next. I do have a couple of re-posts scheduled next week while I’m gone that I think are appropriate for our 40-day fast from fear.

When I get back, I have a series or two planned to help us “faithfully question” some popular notions about our relationship with God as we head toward Easter. But, most of all, we will continue recklessly plunging head-long into the arms of a ridiculously loving Father and sharing what it means to live His life on this earth. 🙂

For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. (Rom.6:4-6 NLT)

You are SO loved!

About Mel Wild

God's favorite (and so are you), a son and a father, happily married to the same beautiful woman for 36 years. We have three incredible adult children. My passion is pursuing the Father's heart in Christ and giving it away to others. My favorite pastime is being iconoclastic and trailblazing the depths of God's grace. I'm also senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in Wisconsin.
