Jesus We Love You | Paul McClure

WewillnotbeShakenphoto5Here’s another song we’ve been singing from Bethel’s latest release, “We Will Not Be Shaken.” This is one is led by Paul McClure called, “Jesus We Love You.”

I love songs that express exactly what God is doing in the hearts of His people. This has been one of those anthems for us.

The reverberating sounds of heaven are echoing anew. A fresh wind is blowing and reviving weary hearts. New revelation of God’s intoxicating, unchanging, pure and undiluted grace is bringing new life again. Dreams are being reawakened. Ancient wells are being discovered and re-opened. And while God stays the same, He’s again bringing His beloved from glory to glory. The Kingdom is truly advancing.

The old fear-driven theologies that kept us separated in our minds from God that kept us hiding in our religious acts of orphan-hearted contrition are now being driven away by the furious love of Jesus in the Father’s embrace.

The orphans have found their home in this place of rest.

To this we sing our anthem song, Jesus we love you. Oh, how we love You.  You are the one our hearts adore!

Old things have passed away
Your love has stayed the same
Your constant grace remains the cornerstone
Things that we thought were dead
Are breathing in life again
You cause your Son to shine on darkest nights

For all that You’ve done we will pour out our love
This will be our anthem song

(Jesus) we love You
Oh how we love You
You are the one our hearts adore

Our hearts adore
Our hearts adore
Our hearts adore

The hopeless have found their hope
The orphans now have a home
All that was lost has found its place in You

You lift our weary head
You make us strong instead
You took these rags and made us beautiful

Our affection our devotion
Poured out on the feet of Jesus
