Quote: Christ who lives

JohnGLake“The great majority of the Christian world is still weeping at the foot of the cross. The consciousness of man is fixed on the Christ Who died, not the Christ Who LIVES. They are looking back to the Redeemer Who was, not the redeemer who IS.” ~John G. Lake

About Mel Wild

God's favorite (and so are you), a son and a father, happily married to the same beautiful woman for 37 years. We have three incredible adult children. My passion is pursuing the Father's heart in Christ and giving it away to others. My favorite pastime is being iconoclastic and trailblazing the depths of God's grace. I'm also senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in Wisconsin.

Concise and precise. Keep preaching The Word, brother!! 🙂

  2. Some don’t realize that without the resurrection we would still be dead in our sins. The cross is now vacant. He went and we need not go again since we were crucified along with Him.

    • Mel Wild says:

Amen and amen. And without the resurrection we could not walk in “newness of life” (Rom.6:4), seated in heavenly places in Christ. Our life would not be hidden in Him (Col.3:3). That’s pretty much everything, isn’t it.
