When You walk into the room

LightoftheWorldJesus changes everything. He is the answer to every longing heart haunted by a nagging angst deep in our soul that only He can satisfy.

And this has nothing to do with our head, but with our heart. For everything starts there. You may think otherwise, but that’s because you think your life is guided by your mind.  But it’s not.

Don’t believe me? Well, if you were to honestly review the course of your life, you would soon discover that your decisions first came from what was in your heart.

What is meant by heart is…who or what sits on the throne of your affections.

Do you understand this?

For this is what God wants us to know….

“Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life.” (Prov.4:23 NLT)

And when Jesus was on the earth He perfectly expressed God’s heart toward us. He was His answer to all that is wrong with the world, expressing the Father’s perfect will by healing the sick, defeating oppression, giving hope to the hopeless and even raising grieving parent’s dead children to live again.

This is what our heavenly Father thinks about these things. Here’s just a small excerpt of the testimonies of Jesus (all NKJV translation)…

“When evening had come,
they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed.

And He cast out the spirits with a word,
and healed all who were sick,
17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
“He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.” (Matt.8:16-17)

“For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish
but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world
to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth
with the Holy Spirit and power,
and how he went around doing good
and healing all who were under the power of the devil,
because God was with him.” Acts 10:38

Beloved, if you are in Christ, He walks into the room whenever you walk into the room. Do you understand that? This same Christ lives in you and you are the hope of the world in Him.

That is, if you let Him walk into your room and live His life in you.

And John tells us that we love Him because He loved us first (1 John 4:19). After all, who wouldn’t want to love someone so wonderful?

And it isn’t love plus our finger-pointing judgmental attitude, our self-righteous anger, our unforgiveness…or our arrogant condescension toward those who doubt.

No, it’s only love.

Everything with God must come through pure love.

And this Love is where everything changes.

So, wherever you are today, maybe you need healing, hope, forgiveness…maybe you just need to remember who you are in Christ.

Whatever the case may be, open the door of your heart and let Jesus walk into your “room.”

Take a few minutes to sit back and listen to this song. Let it minister to your soul. Step into the light and feel the warmth of His embrace.

Never forget who you are and Whose you are. You are SO loved!

When You walk into the room
Everything changes
Darkness starts to tremble
At the light that You bring

When You walk into the room
Every heart starts burning
And nothing matters more than just
To sit here at Your feet and worship You

We love You and we’ll never stop
We can’t live without You Jesus
We love You we can’t get enough
All this is for You Jesus

When You walk into the room
Sickness starts to vanish
Every hopeless situation
Ceases to exist

When You walk into the room
The dead begin to rise
‘Cause there is resurrection life
In all You do

Come and consume God all we are
We give You permission
Our hearts are Yours
We want You
We want You
