Quote: on what would Jesus actually do?

SPIRITUAL_SLAVERY_TO_SPIRITHere’s a quote from one of my highly recommended books. This is from Jack Frost’s book, “Spiritual Slavery to Spiritual Sonship”

“But we don’t become like Jesus by focusing our lives on Jesus; we become like Jesus by focusing our lives on what Jesus focused His life on. And Jesus focused His life on being a Son and revealing the Father and His love so that a world of spiritual orphans could become sons and daughters. Jesus wasn’t sinless because He was God; it wasn’t His divinity that made Him the man He was. Jesus was the man He was because of the Father He had”

Jn.5:30; 8:28; 14:7-10; Phil.2:5-8

About Mel Wild

God's favorite (and so are you), a son and a father, happily married to the same beautiful woman for 36 years. We have three incredible adult children. My passion is pursuing the Father's heart in Christ and giving it away to others. My favorite pastime is being iconoclastic and trailblazing the depths of God's grace. I'm also senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in Wisconsin.
